A man from eastern Idaho who is a suspect in a murder and kidnapping situation that is still unfolding had a run-in with sheriff's deputies the day prior.

Jeremy Best is the suspect who is believed to have committed a murder and kidnapped a 10-month-old child from Victor, Idaho. An Amber Alert was sent out early Friday morning about the 10-month-old boy, Zeke Best, who was taken by Jeremy, his non-custodial father. Jeremy is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Roughly 24 hours prior to the reported murder and kidnapping, Jeremy Best had another run-in with law enforcement. Bonneville County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to a disturbance at Swan Valley General Store for a report of a man walking naked through the store. Responding deputies found Jeremy Best, nude. He was reportedly evaluated by EMS and taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center for further evaluation for mental health concerns.

Sometime after Best was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation, he allegedly murdered someone and kidnapped a 10-month-old. Best is driving in a black 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe, license plate 1T39349. Police are not sure where they are heading but he is known to have connections in Alpine and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Best is considered armed and dangerous, do not approach him if spotted, contact police immediately.
